These terms cover floridanessie.com, operated by Florida Nessies, LLC. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this site is

Somewhere to follow the team: the roster, the schedule, news, partners and how to reach us. It is not where a transaction happens — see below.

Buying is somebody else's shop

Merchandise, gear and tickets are sold through outside providers — a Shopify storefront, Stripe for card payments, and an event ticketing service — and not by us on this site. When you buy, you are contracting with that provider under its terms, and its policies govern pricing, stock, delivery, returns, refunds and payment disputes. The shop page embeds that provider's own storefront and cart, so the products, prices and stock you see there are theirs and any order you place is with them — we are not the merchant of record, and we cannot change their pricing, availability or fulfilment.

If something goes wrong with an order, tell us anyway at coach@floridanessie.com — we would rather help you chase it than have you stuck.

The forms are offline

Contact, careers, ticketing enquiries and the waiver are being moved to a new system and currently do not submit. Email is the reliable route until they return.

Schedules, rosters and prices change

Fixtures, times, venues, rosters and prices are published in good faith and can change, sometimes at short notice and sometimes for reasons outside our control — pool availability, officials, weather, opponents. Confirm with us before travelling a long way for a match.

Water polo carries physical risk

Nothing on this site is coaching, medical or safety advice for a particular athlete. Playing, training and attending are physical activities with real risk of injury. Participation in the senior team or the Boys' 18U programme is governed by the registration and waiver documents you sign for that season, not by this page, and where those documents and this page disagree, the documents win.

Attending matches

Venues are usually not ours. Their rules — entry, bags, photography, alcohol, spectator conduct — apply while you are there, and we may ask anyone whose behaviour puts other people at risk to leave.

Our content

The team name, crest, photographs and text belong to Florida Nessies, LLC or are used with permission. Quote a passage with a link back and there is no need to ask. Using the crest, the photographs or the athlete images commercially, or republishing pages wholesale, needs written permission.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or misuse athlete information published here — including the roster photographs and biographies.

Links and third parties

This site links to partners, sponsors and social platforms, and embeds a Google map on the contact page. Those services have their own terms, and a link is not an endorsement.

Availability

The site is provided as-available and may be down for maintenance or a provider outage without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Florida Nessies, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site, from reliance on a schedule or price published here, or from goods and tickets bought through an outside provider. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — and nothing here affects the terms of a signed registration or waiver.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes about this site belong to the state or federal courts serving Alachua County, Florida.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the site after a revision means accepting it.
