The forms on this site are offline
The contact, careers, ticketing and waiver forms are being moved to a new system. Until that is finished they do not submit anywhere: pressing the button shows a notice asking you to email us instead. Nothing you type into them is stored or transmitted by us — which also means a form is not the way to reach us today.
When those forms come back this page will be updated before they go live, and it will say exactly what each one collects.
What we do collect
- Email and phone conversations. If you write or call, we keep the message and your contact details so we can answer and follow up.
- Analytics. Google Analytics records pages viewed, an approximate location from your IP address, the referring site, and device and browser type. It measures traffic; it is not used for advertising.
- Server logs. Our host records the IP address, time and page of each request in order to run and secure the site.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Shop, tickets and merchandise
Buying is handled entirely by outside providers — a Shopify storefront, Stripe for card payments, and an event ticketing service. When you buy from them, they collect and hold your name, contact details, delivery address and payment information under their own privacy policies, and they are the ones processing the payment. We never see or store your card details. Their scripts load on some pages here, which is why cookies from them appear before you buy anything; the cookie policy lists each one.
Athletes and minors
The Boys' 18U All Star programme involves players under 18. Registration, waivers and medical or emergency information for minors are collected off this website — on paper or through an e-signature service — and always from a parent or guardian, not from the child. The waiver page here is one of the forms currently offline.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them. A parent or guardian who wants to see, correct or delete what we hold about their child should write to coach@floridanessie.com and we will deal with it directly rather than through a form.
Roster pages
Each athlete on the senior roster has a page carrying their name, photograph, position and background, published to promote the team with the athlete's agreement. An athlete who wants their page changed or taken down should tell us and we will do it.
Who else is involved
- Google Analytics — traffic measurement.
- Shopify — the merchandise storefront.
- Stripe — card payments and fraud checks.
- ApproveMe — e-signature for the waiver, when that form returns.
- Google Maps — the map embedded on the contact page, which loads from Google when that page opens.
- DigitalOcean — hosting.
How long we keep things
Enquiries stay in our email while the conversation is live and are cleared out when they are no longer needed. Registration and waiver records for a season are kept as long as insurance and safeguarding obligations require. Analytics data expires on Google's schedule, currently 14 months. Purchase records sit with Shopify and Stripe on their retention terms.
Your choices
Write to coach@floridanessie.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted — no particular state of residence required to ask. To stop analytics, use your browser's cookie controls or Google's opt-out add-on.
Security, and its limits
The site is served over HTTPS and payment details go to Stripe and Shopify rather than through us. No website can promise perfect security, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.
Changes
The date at the top shows when this last changed. The forms returning will be the next material change, and it will be described here.
