Arias, Chris

Christopher Arias was born and raised in Miami. 

His water polo career started as a sophomore in Christopher Columbus High School coached by Osvaldo Garcia. His senior year he made First Team All Dade for FHSAA and Fifth Team All American. In 2004 he started the CWPA Club Water Polo team at Florida International University. In 2005 he made Third Team Men’s Club All America. 2009 First Team Men’s club All America and Player of the Year. 

Chris has been coaching/playing for the Miami Riptides since 2002 with Head Coach Carroll Vaughan.

Chris has played numerous tournaments all over the world. Some of his favorites: Shanghai, Iceland, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica.

Nessie is the first and only pro team in Florida and I am very proud to represent this team and looking forward to a successful season.
